New York- Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid joined protests in New York on Monday, January 30, after President Donald Trump’s ban on the seven Muslim countries on Sunday.
They were joined by American citizens as they matched down the streets and airports saying #NoBanNoWall in Manhattan according to Hello Giggles.
The pair carried a sign that read “We are all Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims, Atheists, Christians, Jews,” spelling out “HUMANS” from each of the religions.
Their father, Mohamed Hadid, is Jordanian-American Muslim and their mother Yolanda Hadid is Dutch-American. Gigi’s boyfriend Zayn Malik is a British Muslim.
